The Senior Program Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing the operations of senior food pantries and fostering relationships to ensure food security for our neighbors. This position goes beyond logistics, tapping into your leadership, collaboration and strategic thinking to enhance the well-being of seniors across Oklahoma. If you're looking for an opportunity to combine program management, community engagement and volunteer leadership, this role is for you.  A Day in the Life  Senior Food Pantry Operations:   Operation of the senior food pantries at Oklahoma City Housing Authority (OCHA) sites.  Coordinate the senior pantry schedules with OCHA.  Monitor the senior pantry and food box sites for USDA compliance.   Expand the senior pantry program to additional housing authority sites.  Volunteer Coordination and Training:  Work with local volunteer organizations (RSVP, AARP, etc.) to recruit senior volunteers for food pantries.  Train and coordinate volunteers.  Work alongside volunteers at senior pantries. Help with delivery, stocking, cleanup, assist client shopping and interact with housing authority staff.  Inventory and Program Management:  Maintain senior pantry inventory. Order product for pantries. Ensure proper handling and display of the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) food.  Order for and manage senior residential food boxes.  Collect and maintain paperwork and monthly reports from senior pantries and senior residential food box programs.  Track program data and submit reports to the program manager.  Work with Food for Health staff to develop Healthy Senior Pantry program at senior pantry sites.  Conduct impact data assessment of assigned senior programs.  Partnerships and Community Engagement:  Work with regional food pantries to improve services for seniors within the community.   Partner with indigenous organizations and tribes on new hunger programs for native seniors.  Maintain relationships with partner organizations, program clients and volunteers.  Ensure proper program procedures and success.  Promote senior programs at various community events.  Program presentations to new partners and community groups as needed.  Assist with team projects as assigned.

Join us in making a significant impact and driving positive change through dedicated donor cultivation and engagement efforts.  A Day in the Life  Donor Prospect Cultivation:  Cultivating relationships with prospective and existing donors.  Managing a caseload of up to 120 prospects and donors.  Donor Solicitation:  Solicit and secure mid-level and major gifts from corporate donors.  Solicit gifts from employees through corporate employee giving campaigns.  Solicit and manage gifts made through the State Charitable, the Federal Employee Giving and Heart of the City employee giving campaigns.  Event Planning and Outreach:  Help with planning and development of major-gift fundraising campaigns, especially related to employee giving campaigns.  Conduct tours and ensure follow-up with each tour participant to build relationships.  Speak to employee groups to secure and steward corporate and governmental employee giving campaigns.  Steward and cultivate donors through volunteer engagement.  Other Administrative Tasks:  Document new information for entry into the record database.  Capture donor interests, relationships, life events and information about capacity.

Foster relationships with volunteers to help the mission. Creating a Safe Environment: Ensure cleanliness in volunteer work areas (break rooms, repack rooms, restrooms). Prepare and stock necessary supplies for volunteer activities. Coordinating Volunteer Activities: Set up daily volunteer activities with all required materials ready. Train and supervise volunteer groups during their work. Maintaining Records and Feedback: Keep accurate records and activity reports on product worked and volunteer participation. Provide feedback from volunteer activities to Volunteer Center leadership. Demonstrating Enthusiasm and Communication: Demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for the Food Bank's mission. Inform volunteers about other opportunities to help the Food Bank (volunteering at program sites, donating food, and funds). Facilitating Volunteer Experience: Greet and give tours of the Food Bank to volunteer groups. Clean and prepare workstations and break rooms for the next volunteer group. Promoting Innovation and Partnership: Maintain positive working relationships with all Food Bank departments. Assist in designing specific tasks for volunteers to enhance productivity and efficiency. Participate in process improvement teams and recommend innovative solutions. Food Safety and Compliance: Adhere to food safety standards, including AIB best practices. Synergy and Flexibility: Must be able to work in a team-based environment. Learning and Proficiency: Willingness to learn and assist volunteers with Give Pulse. Mastery of Volunteer Center talking points. Proficiency in software and technology used by the Volunteer Center. Training and Public Speaking: Proficiency in setting up and training for all volunteer projects. Willingness to take part in public speaking training related to discussing the Food Bank's mission with volunteers. Begin training in one of three core competencies: Inventory, Food Safety/PPC, or Internal Special Events. A Day in the Life Order Selection: Pull, pick, and stage product for agency orders using a voice picking system. Meet the required cases per hour standard of 200CPH, with an accuracy of 99.8%. Warehouse Organization and Equipment: Accountable for daily warehouse and equipment organization and cleanliness.  Perform pre-shift equipment checks to ensure safe operation. Forklift Operation: Operate the forklift and other equipment for moving pallets and navigating tight spaces with products. Fulfill all duties and requirements of a Warehouse Receiver or Forklift Operator. Receive shipments and give forklift help activities as needed. Pallet Put-away: Ensure accurate and efficient pallet put-away by placing and scanning appropriate pallet tags. Move pallets into the correct racking and designated locations. Work in various areas, including the dry warehouse, coolers (40 degrees), and freezer (-15 degrees). Pallet Drops: Use the Warehouse Management System to scan locations and pallet tags for accurate and efficient pallet drops. Move pallets in racking to appropriate locations for pullers. Safety: Perform all tasks in a constant state of alertness and always prioritize safety. Your Impact Efficiency and Productivity: Ensure the smooth and efficient flow of products in and out of the warehouse. Maximize productivity. Reduce delays and bottlenecks in the supply chain. Inventory Management: Effective inventory management. Prevent inventory errors. Inventory control and waste reduction. Customer Satisfaction: Customers receive their products on time and in the right condition. Partners can distribute food to those who are food insecure. Safety: Reduce accidents and injuries. Safe work environment for all employees. Adaptability and Flexibility: Enhance the adaptability of the warehouse operation. The organization responds to changing demands and business requirements. Cost Savings: Better space utilization within the warehouse. Contributes to cost savings in terms of time, labor, and warehouse space. This position is an order selector, forklift operator, and receiver as needed. They assist in pulling orders for agency orders, the volunteer center, and drivers as needed.
