Secondary STEM Education Tenure Track Faculty

JOB DESCRIPTION
Role and Responsibilities

The faculty member shall have the primary responsibilities of teaching, research, and service
functions and shall be held accountable for these obligations as they contribute to the attainment
of the mission of the University, the School, and the Department.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Terminal Degree in Education and/or Education-Related at time of appointment (From a regionally
accredited university).
• Middle and/or Secondary School Teaching Experience in STEM/STEM- Related Field.
• Current Clearances.

Preferred Skills
• 5 years or more of middle and/or secondary school teaching.
• Experienced in Public Schools .
• Experience teaching courses in a variety of formats (e.g., in-person, online, hybrid,
site-based).
• Experience in teaching in a higher educational setting.
• Experience in utilizing and applying educational technologies in a classroom setting.
